Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: March 25, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing the use of the AnswerMind AI platform and associated services ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in our Terms of Service.

1. General Principles

AnswerMind AI provides AI-powered chatbot infrastructure to help businesses serve their customers. You are solely responsible for the way you use the Service and for ensuring that all use of your account, including by your Authorized Users, complies with this AUP, our Terms of Service, and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Prohibited Content

You must not use the Service to create, transmit, distribute, publish, store, or process content that:

  • Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation;
  • Is defamatory, libelous, harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, or discriminatory on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic;
  • Is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit, particularly involving minors (strictly prohibited and reported to law enforcement);
  • Promotes violence, self-harm, or harm to others;
  • Constitutes spam — unsolicited bulk messages, commercial solicitations, or repetitive messages sent without recipient consent;
  • Contains malware, viruses, Trojan horses, spyware, adware, or any other malicious or harmful code;
  • Infringes or misappropriates any intellectual property, proprietary right, or privacy right of any person or entity;
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or falsely represents an affiliation with a person, entity, or organization;
  • Facilitates phishing, identity theft, fraud, or other deceptive practices.

3. Prohibited AI Misuse

You must not use the AI capabilities of the Service to:

  • Generate, spread, or amplify disinformation, misinformation, or deliberately false information;
  • Create synthetic media designed to deceive (deepfakes) or impersonate real individuals without their consent;
  • Generate content intended to manipulate, psychologically coerce, or exploit users of your chatbot;
  • Provide regulated professional advice (medical diagnosis, legal advice, financial investment advice) without appropriate disclaimers and human oversight;
  • Automate or facilitate illegal surveillance, stalking, tracking, or profiling of individuals;
  • Attempt to circumvent content safety measures or model guidelines of any underlying AI provider;
  • Use the Service to develop, test, or improve a competing AI chatbot product without our express written permission.

4. Prohibited Technical Activities

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Service through hacking, password mining, or other means;
  • Conduct probing, scanning, or penetration testing of our infrastructure without prior written authorization from AnswerMind AI;
  • Transmit traffic designed to overwhelm or degrade the Service, including denial-of-service attacks or distributed denial-of-service attacks;
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to extract data from the Service beyond normal, documented API usage patterns;
  • Circumvent or attempt to disable any technical limitation, rate limit, usage quota, or access control;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or underlying models of the Service;
  • Introduce any code that disrupts, disables, harms, or otherwise impedes the operation of the Service or any connected systems;
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits, bans, or other restrictions.

5. Compliance with Third-Party Terms

The Service integrates with third-party platforms and APIs, including AI model providers. You must ensure that your use of the Service, including the content you train your chatbot on and the use cases you deploy it for, complies with the terms and policies of any third-party services involved.

6. Data Privacy Obligations

If your chatbot collects personal data from end users (such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers), you are responsible for:

  • Having a lawful basis for collecting and processing that data;
  • Providing end users with adequate notice (e.g., a privacy notice) about data collection;
  • Complying with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and equivalent regulations;
  • Ensuring that minors' data is collected and processed only in compliance with applicable laws.

7. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, whether by other AnswerMind AI customers or via a chatbot deployed using our Service, please report it to us at [email protected] with the subject line "AUP Violation Report." We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

8. Enforcement

AnswerMind AI reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. Upon confirmation of a violation, we may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where urgency requires it, take any of the following actions:

  • Issue a warning and request remediation;
  • Temporarily suspend access to all or part of the Service;
  • Permanently terminate your account and all associated subscriptions;
  • Remove or disable access to any content that violates this AUP;
  • Report the matter to relevant law enforcement or regulatory authorities;
  • Pursue available legal remedies.

Where possible, we will provide advance notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation before taking enforcement action. However, we reserve the right to act immediately where we determine that a violation poses an immediate risk to the Service, other customers, or third parties.

9. No Limitation on Rights

This AUP does not limit AnswerMind AI's rights or remedies under the Terms of Service, applicable law, or equity. Our rights under this AUP are cumulative and not exclusive.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-product notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP.
